Moose Jaw home a ‘total loss’ after Friday fire

The Moose Jaw Fire Department is calling a house in the city’s Crescent View neighbourhood a “total loss” after a fire Friday evening.

Firefighters were called to the home in the 800 block Hochelaga Street East around 5 p.m. to find smoke billowing out of it.

No one was hurt as the house was empty at the time of the blaze.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but the fire department noted in a media release Saturday that it’s “deemed not to be suspicious.”
