A Regina man is facing drug trafficking charges after an on foot police chase.
Police said they approached two men in the Glencairn neighbourhood on the night of Sept. 14 as a part of a drug investigation.
The two men reportedly fled and police pursued them on foot.
Police said they caught one of the men on the 100 block of Brotherton Avenue around 12:02 a.m. on Sept. 15.
Police said they seized a bladed weapon as well as cocaine and methamphetamine.
The Canine Unit was unsuccessful in tracking down the second man.
Dexter Miller, 30, is charged with two counts of possession of a scheduled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon and obstructing an officer.
Miller made his first court appearance on Sept. 15.
