One person is dead after being hit by a vehicle while crossing Dewdney Avenue.
Regina police said shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Friday, a 66-year-old man was hit while crossing in the crosswalk at Dewdney Avenue and Robinson Street.
The man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
According to police, the initial investigation shows an eastbound vehicle struck the pedestrian while he was walking north in the west crosswalk through the intersection.
At this point in the investigation, no charges have been laid. Police have not released the identity of the man who died.
