Pats open Alberta road trip with loss to Hurricanes

The Regina Pats’ two-game winning streak ended Wednesday, when they fell 4-1 to the host Lethbridge Hurricanes in WHL action.

Dino Kambeitz scored twice for the Hurricanes, who got their other goals from Dylan Cozens and Oliver Okuliar (who scored into an empty net).

Zack Smith had the lone goal for Regina, which was playing the first contest of a four-game Alberta road swing.

Carl Tetachuk made 25 saves for Lethbridge (17-7-0-3). Max Paddock stopped 38 shots for the Pats (5-15-2-0).

Regina is to continue its road trip Friday in Calgary against the Hitmen.
