A Saskatoon man had both his legs broken after being hit by a car on 22nd Street near Avenue R South.
Police reported that the man was intoxicated and wearing dark clothing when he walked out into the road around 8:40 p.m. Wednesday. He was reportedly walking southbound across the road when he came into the path of the car, which was headed east.
Police said the man was taken to hospital from the scene, and was then issued a ticket for walking into the path of a vehicle when it was unsafe.
