An inmate at the Regina Correctional Centre was taken to hospital Thursday, but details about the incident are scarce.
The Ministry of Corrections confirmed in an email that the inmate was taken by ambulance from the jail to a Regina hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The ministry said staff members are investigating the incident, but it wouldn’t provide specific details about the situation.
