The Regina Police Service (RPS) is now investigating a man’s death over the weekend as a homicide.
Officers were called to the 1200 block of Queen Street around 4 a.m. Sunday for a report of an injured man lying on the road.
When police and paramedics arrived, the man was dead.
He has been identified as Keenan Scott Toto, 23, of Regina.
Police haven’t released how Toto died, nor have they said whether they have any suspects in connection with his death.
With the help of the coroner, the RPS major crimes and forensic identification units continue to investigate.
This is Regina’s ninth homicide of the year.
