Sask. RCMP have recaptured a 26-year-old man who escaped custody earlier this week.
Michael Montgrand got away during a hearingĀ at Turnor Lake Provincial Court on Wednesday.
Turnor Lake is just east of La Loche, in the northwestern part of the province.
Mounties had warned that Montgrand was dangerous and advised people to stay away from him.
Police say he was arrested on Wednesday night and thanked the public for helping officers find him.
RCMP have not said how Montgrand escaped or what charges he was facing.
