The search for a missing woman from the Wood Mountain Lakota First Nation came to a tragic conclusion on Saturday.
Claudette Ferguson has been found dead after the Assiniboia RCMP requested help locating the missing woman.
The 74-year-old woman was reported missing Friday and was found Saturday afternoon.
The investigation into her death is ongoing, but as of now, the Assiniboia RCMP do not consider it to be suspicious.
RCMP say the family of Ferguson has been notified of her death.
