Fog advisories issued Tuesday by Environment Canada remained in place Wednesday for much of central and southern Saskatchewan.
Cities such as Regina, Saskatoon and Moose Jaw are covered by the advisory.
“Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring,” the alert read. “Widespread fog remains in place over much of southern Saskatchewan.
“Fog will persist over western sections into the early afternoon. Pockets of freezing drizzle have been reported with the fog this morning. Dense fog will likely redevelop over southern Saskatchewan tonight.
The advisories stretch from Kindersley in the west to Indian Head in the southeast.
