Two men from Toronto were arrested Wednesday in Regina with more than a kilogram of cocaine in their possession.
According to the Regina Police Service, an investigation by the Regina Drug Unit led to the men’s arrests in the Parliament Place area of the city.
Police said they seized 1,164 grams of powder and crack cocaine, $29,135 in cash and a set of brass knuckles.
The men, both aged 23, face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, proceeds of crime over $5,000 and possession of a prohibited weapon. They made their first court appearances on Thursday.
