Three teenagers are charged with theft, possession of stolen property and assault with a weapon after an incident Monday morning.
Police were called at about 1 a.m. to Abbott Road near Douglas Avenue East.
The victim said three people were breaking into his vehicle outside his home. They also threatened him with what police describe as an “edged weapon.”
Nobody was hurt.
The three suspects ran away but police caught up with them with a canine unit.
Police seized the weapon and property belonging to the victim.
Those arrested include a 16-year-old boy, a 15-year-old girl and 14-year-old boy.
