A 20-year-old woman is facing a number of weapons-related charges after a stabbing in Regina early Friday.
The Regina Police Service says it received a call at about 4 a.m., about a stabbing that had occurred on Knight Crescent. Officers who responded found a woman lying in the street with a stab wound; she was taken to hospital by paramedics.
Police arrested the suspect at a nearby house. She was charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, and failing to comply with a probation order.
She was to appear in court Friday.
