A 29-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault in Regina.
Police were sent to the 1100 block of Empress Street around 5:47 p.m. on Saturday after a 37-year-old man was taken to the hospital after a serious assault.
According to police, 29-year-old Anthony Michael was visiting the home when he hurt the other man and then ran away. Police were able to find him nearby and arrest him without incident. He was charged with aggravated assault.
The victim was treated for his injuries.
Michael made his first court appearance Oct. 31.
