A charge of second-degree murder has been laid against a 21-year-old Regina man in connection with the city’s fifth murder of 2020.
Michael Douglas Morrissette was arrested Saturday and charged with second-degree murder and breach of probation. He was to make his first court appearance Monday.
David Anderson, 36, was found injured in the 1400 block of Sixth Avenue on Thursday. He was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
On Friday, the Regina Police Service’s investigation determined Anderson had been murdered, and Morrissette was arrested the following day.
