Cineplex announces closures across Canada to help stop the spread of COVID-19

All 165 Cineplex theatres in Canada are closing, including two in Saskatoon.

In a release sent on its Twitter page, Cineplex said it will be temporarily closing its network of entertainment venues. That includes the entire circuit of 165 theatres across Canada, and all locations of the Rec Room and Playdium until April 2.

Cineplex owns both the location at the Centre Mall in Saskatoon, and the downtown Scotiabank Theatre.

In the release, Cineplex said it would give a full refund for all bookings, including private theatre bookings, along with individual and group reservations.
