Suspicious circumstances have been revealed in a house fire in Regina’s North Central neighbourhood.
According to Regina Fire and Protective Services, they got a call about the fire from someone in the home at 1213 Queen Street around 1:50 a.m. on Sunday. Everyone got out of the home, and no one was hurt.
Fire crews responded quickly, getting to the home within four minutes of the call. Crews had the fire under control in about 10 minutes, and it was out within another 15 minutes.
Because the fire was put out so quickly, there was only moderate damage to the home.
As of noon on Sunday, investigators were still looking into the cause of the fire but did say there were some suspicious circumstances.
