Investigators with the Prince Albert Police Service have determined a three-year-old girl’s death on April 9 was a homicide.
The determination was made after an autopsy conducted yesterday.
Police say no arrests have been made at this time but did confirm the victim and suspects were known to each other.
The incident is not believed to be random. Police say they do not believe there is a risk to public safety.
Investigators from the Prince Albert Police Service criminal investigations division, forensic investigation section, and the chief coroner’s office continue to review the case.
