A 33-year-old Edmonton man is facing drug charges after a vehicle stop near Maidstone turned up more than one kilogram of cocaine.
On April 16, the RCMP stopped a vehicle for a driver’s licence and vehicle registration check.
During the stop, the officer made several observations that resulted in the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle being arrested under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
A search of the vehicle found 1,105 grams of cocaine.
Darin Math has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. He’s scheduled to make his next court appearance on July 14 in Lloydminster.
