Police are investigating after a hunter in Saskatchewan made a somber discovery over the weekend.
Around noon Sunday, Warman RCMP were advised of human remains that were found in the R.M. of Montrose in the Swanson district.
The area is located around 25 kilometres south of Delisle.
RCMP said the identity of the victim has not been confirmed.
An autopsy is taking place Monday to determine that, along with the cause of death.
RCMP attended the scene and continue their investigation along with teams from major crimes, forensics and the chief coroner’s office.
