The Regina Police Service said Friday the death of an 18-month-old boy is considered suspicious and the case now is being treated as a criminal investigation.
Police and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are looking into the toddler’s death, which occurred Wednesday.
Officers responded at about 10:15 a.m., to the 3200 block of Arens Road East after receiving a call about an injured child. The boy was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
