The Saskatchewan Roughriders are extending the contract of international defensive back Justin Cox.
The contract runs through the 2018 season.
The 23-year-old from Mississippi signed with the team in May, 2016. Cox picked up 42 defensive tackles and four interceptions in 15 games with the green and white in 2016, enroute to being named the Riders’ Most Outstanding Rookie.
