The teen accused in the Hannah Leflar murder has been denied bail.
The now 18-year-old applied to be released from custody following his mistrial on first-degree murder charges last month.
A publication ban was automatically ordered, preventing the reporting of any evidence, information or reasons behind Justice Lian Schwann’s decision.
Hannah Leflar was found stabbed to death in her north Regina home in January 2015.
Another teen has already pleaded guilty and is awaiting sentencing.
The teen’s trial restarts on Feb. 6, 2017.
