Hot weather meeting a low pressure system led to severe thunderstorm watches and warnings being issued across the southern and northern ends of Saskatchewan on Wednesday.
The advisories stretched across most of southwestern Saskatchewan, including the Swift Current and Maple Creek areas.
The storms were warned to carry strong wind gusts, heavy rain and nickel-sized hail.
