A man is dead after a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian Wednesday afternoon in the alley behind Elizabeth Crescent in Regina’s Windsor Place neighbourhood.
The Regina Police Service said officers were dispatched just after 1 p.m., to the area of Elizabeth and Third Avenue. Patrol officers, collision and forensic identification investigators and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service remained at the scene throughout the afternoon.
In a media release just after 3:30 p.m., police said the area would be closed for an unknown period of time as the investigation continued.
Police were in the process of notifying the victim’s next of kin.
