A serious crash has closed a stretch of highway between Indian Head and Lebret.
According to a news release, Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP was notified of a single-vehicle collision roughly one kilometre north of Highway 56 on Wide Awake Road at roughly 2 p.m. Sunday.
The highway is blocked in both directions and traffic is being rerouted. There is no indication when the highway will reopen.
Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP along with an RCMP collision reconstructionist, Fort Qu’Appelle EMS, Fort Qu’Appelle Fire Department and STARS air ambulance are on scene.
