Frost advisory issued for areas of central, eastern Saskatchewan

A frost advisory is in effect for areas of central and eastern Saskatchewan.

Environment Canada put out the advisory Wednesday just before 3:30 p.m., for areas around Carlyle, Oxbow, Carnduff, Bienfait, Stoughton, Hudson Bay, Porcupine Plain, Humboldt, Wynyard, Wadena, Lanigan, Foam Lake, Kamsack, Canora, Preeceville, Melfort, Tisdale, Nipawin, Carrot River, Moosomin, Grenfell, Kipling, Wawota, Yorkton, Melville and Esterhazy.

The weather service issues frost advisories when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season.
