Woman sent to hospital after early morning break in and assault in Moose Jaw

A woman in Moose Jaw was sent to hospital with some serious injuries after someone broke into her home early this morning.

According to a release from the Moose Jaw Police Service, a man broke into the woman’s home on the 0 block of Lillooet Street West around 1 a.m. and assaulted her with an unknown object after being confronted by the woman.

Police searched the area with the help of K-9 police dogs but were not able to find the suspect who had fled the scene.

The woman was later released from hospital.
