A Regina man is facing numerous firearms offences after an incident on New Year’s Day.
Around 11:08 p.m. on New Year’s Day, police were dispatched for a call of a woman being threatened with bear spray.
Police said they went to the suspect’s home to deal with the incident and while making the arrest, noticed drugs and weapons within the home.
Police seized two sawed-off rifles, ammunition, numerous swords, two cans of bear spray, an asp and marijuana.
Kyle Otway has been charged with 16 firearm-related offences, uttering threats and possession of a controlled substance.
