Some stretches of highway near Alberta border closed due to winter conditions

A few highways near the western edge of the province are closed because of severe weather.

Highway 271 from Maple Creek to Fort Walsh, Highway 321 from Liebenthal to the Alberta border, Highway 371 from Highway 21 to the Alberta border and Highway 44 from Alsask to the Highway 21 junction are all closed.

Highway Hotline lists icy sections, heavy snow, snow-packed roads, snow drifts, swirling snow and reduced visibility as the reasons for the closures.
