Highways around Saskatoon were clearing early Thursday morning following a brutal Wednesday night on the roads.
The Ministry of Highways began lifting travel not recommended advisories just after 5 AM.
While snowy conditions seemed to be improving on the roads, the entire province of Saskatchewan remained under extreme cold warnings from Environment Canada.
The Ministry of Highways has been issuing updates via its Highway Hotline Twitter account.
