A call about a person possibly carrying a weapon has led to the arrest of three Regina teenagers.
Around 11:17 p.m. Saturday, Regina police were dispatched to a coffee shop on the 5800 block of Rochdale Boulevard in the northwest part of the city.
Officers arrived, found a group of youths, and checked them for weapons.
Three of the youths – all boys ages 14, 15, and 16 – were found with knives and firearms. Further investigation revealed, the firearms were actually CO2 pellet guns, made of metal and very realistic in appearance.
All three teenagers are charged with possession of a weapon and carrying a concealed weapon.
They will make a court appearance in Regina on Feb. 22.
