A familiar face will be representing the NDP in an upcoming byelection in the Saskatoon-Meewasin riding.
Dr. Ryan Meili won the party’s nomination Monday night.
Meili operates a medical clinic on Saskatoon’s West Side and heads Upstream, a health policy think-tank.
He previously ran for the NDP party leadership in 2009 and 2013. This will be Meili’s first time running for a seat in the Saskatchewan Legislature.
Saskatoon-Meewasin was previously represented by Sask. Party MLA Roger Parent, who died in November.
