Police in Regina need help to solve an arson investigation involving a Molotov cocktail.
Early Saturday at around 3:20 a.m., Regina Fire and Protective Services was called to a house on the 1500 block of Retallack Street in the North Central area. The residents had called 911 after being awaken by a noise.
The noise turned out to be what police describe as a “simple incendiary device,” or a Molotov cocktail. It had been thrown at the home’s back door, causing a small fire that the residents were able to put out.
The Regina Police Service was called to investigate. It is hoping someone in the community has information that may help solve the case by calling 306-777-6500 or Regina Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
