A fight over cab fare turned dangerous for a Saskatoon cab driver.
The driver called police around 1:14 a.m. Friday to report a rider had pulled out a knife and threatened him.
The suspect fled the scene in the 700 block of Central Avenue on foot. He was later found by police with air support.
A 29-year-old man is now facing charges of assault with a weapon, threats to cause death and transportation by fraud.
His first court appearance was Friday.
