An 18-year-old woman is facing charges after a dangerous situation in north-central Regina.
At about 3:47 p.m Saturday, officers were called to the 700 block of Athol St. near the intersection of Elphinstone St. and 1st Ave.
There, a 25-year-old woman was allegedly being held against her will by the 18-year-old.
The third-party who called the police said the victim was assaulted and threatened when she tried to leave the home.
Officers surrounded the building and made multiple arrests, police say there was mention that firearms were found inside the home.
The victim was found unharmed.
An 18-year-old woman, Barbara Ann Stonechild, is charged with offences such as forcible confinement, assault and uttering threats.
