There will not be a Waskimo Winter Festival for the Family Day weekend due to COVID restrictions on gatherings.
But for Feb. 20-21, there will be a limited number of horse-drawn wagon rides at the Legislative Building.
Rides will be offered between noon and 5 p.m.
Tickets must be bought in advance online. They cost $25 per family (maximum five people) or $50 for a covered stagecoach (maximum four people).
Waskimo organizers are planning a “major relaunch” of the festival next year when the 2022 Saskatchewan Winter Games are to be held in Regina.
