Another Best on Best world event is being put to the test.
Two of Canada’s baseball stars, Russell Martin and Michael Saunders, will not play for Canada at the upcoming World Baseball Classic in Miami next month.
Insurance complications will prevent Martin from playing, while Saunders just signed a $9-million contract with the Phillies.
At that price, the Phils want Saunders’ priority to be his major league team.
