Well known First Nations advocate Tyrone Tootoosis, has died.
His death was confirmed by his Facebook page, which says he passed away Sunday morning.
A recognized leader in Saskatchewan who spent his life sharing his culture with others, Tootoosis was also an artist and actor.
The wake for Tootoosis is scheduled for Monday evening with a funeral service taking place Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Poundmaker First Nation Veterans Hall.
