Best’s transition will be seamless. A master’s degree in mechanical engineering has allowed him to work a solid job in the off-season for the last few years. He’s all ready to take on ‘retirement’ – if you can even call it that.
Best could be a great example for young football players. Work ethic. Great attitude. Leadership. And realizing early, for most athletes there is a lot more life after football than there is in football.
