Prince Albert Police is investigating the possible drowning of a man during a chase in northern Saskatchewan.
Around 5:00 a.m. Saturday morning, Stony Rapids RCMP was investigating a complaint in the community when a man tried to run from the scene.
He ended up in a nearby body of water and disappeared beneath the surface, police believe he drowned.
Because the man disappeared during an RCMP chase, P-A Police has been called in for an independent investigation.
Stony Rapids is 1,000 kms North of Saskatoon, near the Northwest Territories border.
