Police confirm officers were called to the 2000 block of Wallace Street for a report of a firearms offence around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
Police said a 21-year-old man sustained a single gunshot wound. The victim was taken to hospital reportedly in serious but stable condition.

Police said a 30-year-old man sustained injuries consistent with an assault. The victim was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious but stable.
