A 59-year-old Regina man has been charged after an email was received by the Prime Minister’s Office that allegedly contained threats against property in Regina as well as people.
Regina police say they were contacted Wednesday by the Prime Minister’s Office about the email, which contained what police said were “threats of damage to the Legislative Building and Queen’s Bench Court, as well as threats to the safety of an out-of-province physician and a retired judge.”
After investigating, police arrested the man at his home and charged him with uttering threats. He made his first court appearance Thursday morning.
