A bike valued at almost $3,500 that was stolen more than a year ago will be heading back to its owner after an arrest in Regina on Wednesday morning.
Just before 6 a.m., patrol officers saw a man riding a bike that matched the description previously given to officers of a bike that had been stolen from a garage in the city.
Officers stopped the man and asked to check the bike’s serial number, which matched that of the stolen bike.
The 39-year-old man was charged with possession of stolen property. Then, when he was searched, police found what was described as “a substantial quantity” of crystal meth and he also was charged with possession of a scheduled substance.
