Regina man charged with possessing child porn

A 28-year-old Regina man has been arrested after police received a report of child porn images being found on a phone.

Regina police received the report just after 3 a.m. on Sunday. Police found the complainant and an investigation led them to a home on Gore Place.

At the home, police found the alleged owner of the phone and gathered evidence. Members of the Internet Child Exploitation unit were requested to assist in the investigation.

The man was taken into custody and will appear in court in August.
