Ituna makes final 2 in Kraft Hockeyville contest

The two finalists for Kraft Hockeyville 2017 are out and Ituna is still in it.
 
The community of around 600 people is up against O’Leary, P.E.I.
 
The grand prize is a pre-season NHL game and $100,000 for arena upgrades with the runner-up getting the  $100,000 prize too.

Adrienne Ivey, who co-owns a ranch near Ituna with her husband, said the money would be a major boost as the town’s current rink will soon need to be torn down due to a failing roof.

Voting is open now and ends on Monday.

Ituna is located around 135 kilometres northeast of Regina.
