An armed robbery involving a firearm at a Regina business ended without incident early Tuesday morning.
Regina police were dispatched around 7:05 a.m. on July 20, 2021 to a business in the 2100 block of Broad Street.
Police say early information suggested an individual with a firearm was inside the business and had threatened staff. Officers say they were told the male had left the business and were given his description.
After arriving at the scene, police located a man that matched the given description near the business and took him into custody without incident.
The Regina man, 40, now faces charges of armed robbery using a firearm and possession of a weapon.
His first appearance in provincial court occurred Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m.
