HMCS Saskatoon has been making her namesake city proud as part of a mission to keep drugs off North American shores.
The Saskatoon was deployed alongside units from the U.S. Coast Guard as part of Operation Caribbe, a 26-day mission to patrol for smugglers in international waters off of Central and South America.
Crew from the Saskatoon helped net some 16 tonnes of cocaine valued in excess of $500 million over the course of the mission, which wrapped up on Tuesday.
Launched in 1998, the HMCS Saskatoon is one of 12 Kingston-class coastal defence vessels operated by the Royal Canadian Navy.
