A 65-year-old woman from the Wadena area is dead after a two-vehicle collision Thursday on Highway 5 east of Wadena.
According to the RCMP, officers responded just before 4 p.m., to a report of a collision on the highway about two kilometres east of Wadena. A westbound semi and an eastbound truck collided and then went into the ditch.
The driver of the truck died at the scene. The 61-year-old man driving the semi reported minor injuries.
The investigation is continuing with the help of an RCMP collision reconstructionist.
