An incident that Regina police initially considered an attempted murder was on Monday deemed to be a non-criminal matter.
In a media release, police said they had concluded their investigation into an incident that happened Sept. 9.
That morning, officers responded to a call of an injured man at a house in the 1300 block of Athol Street. The man had suffered a serious injury to his throat and was taken to hospital.
Police initially were told the man had been assaulted by two other men, but investigators now say the cause of the man’s injuries were not criminal in nature.
